Oncology Registered Nurse

About the role

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Oncology Registered Nurse to join our esteemed healthcare team. This position is pivotal in providing expert care and support to oncology patients, ensuring they receive the best possible treatment during their healthcare journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care to cancer patients in accordance with the latest evidence-based practices.
• Administer chemotherapy and other oncology treatments safely and efficiently.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Work in close collaboration with oncologists, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Essential Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years of experience in oncology or a related clinical setting.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate care and support in a challenging and emotionally intense environment.
• Valid American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS).
• ANY of the following:
• RN from NH
• NLC
• AANY of AHA ACLS, AHA BLS or AHA PALS

Work Schedule and Location

Full-time position: Monday to Friday
Work location: State-of-the-art oncology center based in Peterborough, NH.
