Oncology Patient Consult Staff Pharmacist (AZ, FL, IN, OH, TN) - Remote

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients about medication use and drug interactions
• Contact physicians for new and transfer authorizations
• Collaborate with physicians to convert prescriptions to preferred drugs
• Interpret physicians' prescriptions accurately
• Verify prescription details to expedite order processing
• Support and back up other pharmacists as needed
• Train less experienced pharmacists

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Pharmacy required, PharmD preferred
• Current resident pharmacist license in good standing
• Minimum 3 years experience in a pharmacy setting
• Specialty or Oncology experience preferred
• Advanced problem-solving skills with collaborative abilities
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret prescriptions

Pay

$112,320 – $189,680 annually
