WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Provide clinical care: Conduct assessments, place orders, prescribe medications, document appropriately, and assign tasks to enable our broader care team to deliver great patient care.
- Enable Daymark’s ability to triage for high acuity: Navigate and provide direct clinical care for our highest acuity patients while supporting our broader patient population.
- Real-world application of a new care model: Collaborate with Daymark’s clinical operations team to refine and implement our care model and deliver the right care at the right time to patients with a cancer diagnosis.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Expertise: Active NP or PA with at least 4 years of oncology, home care, palliative care, or primary care experience. Oncology Nursing Society certification and experience with value-based care or in-home care are preferred.
- Tech savvy: Comfortable caring for patients with cancer both in-person and virtually using video and web-based call software.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to roll up sleeves and contribute to clinical problem solving.
- Biased to action: Experience identifying and prioritizing initiatives and ensuring urgent and important tasks are completed.
- Comfort with ambiguity: Experience building or launching new programs and adapting to changing processes to improve patient care.
- Player/Coach: Leadership skills to lead your team and the ability to switch contexts easily between patient care and team management.
- Able to work in-person: Availability to deliver in-home care to patients in Rhode Island and potentially Southeastern Massachusetts.
- Availability: Full-time, four days per week commitment with availability to work with our team and patients.
Additional Information
The expected compensation for this role is $140,000 to $170,000 annually, depending on experience. Our office is based in Providence, RI, and you will deliver in-home care to patients in RI and potentially Southeast MA. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle.
