Oncology Nurse Navigator

This position is remote with varying hours Monday through Friday. Starting salary of $80,000 and above, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus for employees starting before September 30, 2026.

About the role

The Oncology Nurse Navigator is a nursing professional who specializes in caring for people with cancer. This position provides professional services to oncology patients in a manner that maximizes quality and patient safety, coordinating the many aspects of care throughout the patient’s cancer treatment. They will manage and counsel patients while following established policies and procedures for Onco360 pharmacies.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients, helping them understand the disease, treatment plan, and possible side effects.
• Provide medication therapy management.
• Assist healthcare providers and patients by phone, answering questions and requests.
• Review medical and health history of patients.
• Communicate with patients and physician’s office staff.
• Comply with professional practice and patient confidentiality laws.
• Document any adverse drug reactions according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Inform pharmacy manager of medication errors.
• Document all communication with physicians or other healthcare providers.
• Follow up with patients and providers to monitor progress toward meeting drug treatment goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Current license as a registered nurse.
• 1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Compassion, good communication skills, critical thinking, adaptability, and attention to detail.
• Compassionate, outgoing, and energetic attitude with strong multi-tasking and listening skills.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• 1+ years of experience in oncology.
• 1+ years in a specialty pharmacy setting.
• Clinical and/or case management experience.
• ONCC or ONS certification.
