CareMed is a unique Pharmacy model created to serve the needs of community, oncology and hematology physicians, patients, payers, and manufacturers. We have a need for an Oncology Nurse Navigator to join our growing team!

HOURS: 9:30-6 EST M-F
LOCATION: Remote but must live within commutable distance to our pharmacy location in Louisville, KY.

Starting Salary and Sign-On Bonus

Starting salary of $80K and above
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 for employees starting before July 31, 2026.

Position Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients helping them understand the disease, treatment plan and possible side effects.
• Provides medication therapy management.
• Aid health care providers and patients, greeting them by phone, answering questions and requests.
• Review medical and health history of patients.
• Communicates with adult patients and physician’s office staff.
• Complies with professional practice and patient confidentiality laws.
• Provides medication therapy management.
• Dedicated rare disease support and management of rare disease patients.
• Document any adverse drug reactions according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Informs pharmacy manager of medication errors.
• Documents all communication with physicians, or other healthcare providers.
• Documentation of adverse events and products complaints per contractual obligations to pharmaceutical manufacturers.
• Follow up with adult patients and providers to monitor progress towards meeting drug treatment goals.

Qualifications

• Education/Learning Experience: Associate of Science in Nursing
• Work Experience: 1+ years in oncology nursing setting
• Skills/Knowledge: Compassion, good communication skills, critical thinking, adaptability, attention to detail
• Licenses/Certifications: Current license as registered nurse
