  • Retirement: Cooper University Health Care offers a 403(b) retirement plan administered by Fidelity Investments that enables team members to save and plan for retirement through pre-tax and post-tax (Roth) contributions. All new team members of Cooper University Health Care will have 3% of compensation automatically deducted from their pay each payroll period and directed to their account at Fidelity Investments. Deferral percentages can be changed with Fidelity at any time, once enrolled. A match contribution of 50% of the team member’s contributions up to 5% of annual salary is available once eligible.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the facilitation and coordination of safe and comprehensive care to all patients presenting to Moorestown/Oncology Multidisciplinary sites. This Oncology Nurse Coordinator is a professional care-giver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self. Clinical application of the knowledge and skill in the following areas: Pharmacology, principals and application of chemotherapy administration, side effects and appropriate nursing intervention, chemotherapy, liaison for patients/families receiving treatment.

This Oncology Nurse Coordinator III will be required to work in multiple areas within Oncology. Leadership may be remote; requires ability of expanded problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making at a supervisory level. Will have the unique opportunity to assist in the development and operations of the Cooper Moorestown Multidisciplinary site. This model focuses on the acute/immediate care needs in the Moorestown and surrounding areas. Excellent customer service, interpersonal and clinical skills are required.

Experience Required

  • At least 1 year RN experience in Oncology setting required, 3-5 years preferred.

Education Requirements

  • Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred.

Licenses/Certifications Required

  • Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse)
  • Current NJ-BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
  • ONS/ONCC required.
