Responsibilities

- Emergency evaluation and triage
- Hospital admissions
- Diagnostics assessment
- Development of evidence-based treatment plans
- Coordination of care across multidisciplinary teams
Requirements
Must obtain attending medical staff privileges at respective YNHHS entity.
Qualifications
- Education: M.D. or D.O., with completion of an ACGME – accredited Internal Medicine Residency.
- Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Internal Medicine.
- Hematology-Oncology or Palliative Care training is welcomed but not necessary.
- Licensure: Hold a valid Connecticut medical license, Connecticut Controlled Substance Registration and Federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certification.
