Oncology Hospitalist

Responsibilities

• Emergency evaluation and triage
• Hospital admissions
• Diagnostics assessment
• Development of evidence-based treatment plans
• Coordination of care across multidisciplinary teams

Requirements

Must obtain attending medical staff privileges at respective YNHHS entity.

Qualifications

• Education: M.D. or D.O., with completion of an ACGME – accredited Internal Medicine Residency.
• Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Internal Medicine.
• Hematology-Oncology or Palliative Care training is welcomed but not necessary.
• Licensure: Hold a valid Connecticut medical license, Connecticut Controlled Substance Registration and Federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certification.
