About the role

As an Oncology Data Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing large datasets related to cancer research and treatment outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement data collection strategies
  • Analyzing complex datasets to identify trends and patterns relevant to oncology research
  • Developing and maintaining databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility
  • Presenting findings to stakeholders through reports and presentations

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as biostatistics, computer science, or a related discipline
  • At least 3 years of experience in data analysis or a similar field
  • Strong proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Python, SAS)
  • Experience working with large datasets and knowledge of data management best practices
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
