Responsibilities
- Provides effective leadership, organization and oversight for assigned cancer center programs, including support groups and lecture series.
- Prepares outlines, handouts, etc. appropriate to the needs of the population.
- Provides professional, timely products as directed.
- Routinely seeks feedback from customers and documents process improvement efforts.
- Maintains appropriate documentation and statistics and reports as requested.
- Maintains technical expertise by actively participating in a variety of cancer related continuing education opportunities, utilizing professional resources (journals, etc).
- Shares technical expertise with colleagues and community through active participation in educational presentations (patients, family members, public forums, professional in services).
- Captures and coordinates programs with other community agencies to increase access to patient and family support resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social work or a master's degree in counseling, education or psychology.
- Two years of experience in case management, social work or counseling preferred.
- LBSW or higher or LPCC license required.

What We're Looking For
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in social work or a master's degree in counseling, education or psychology. Additional requirements include: Experience: two years of experience in case management, social work or counseling preferred. License/Certification: LBSW or higher or LPCC license required.
