Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Clinician (Oncology / Hematology) to work on a contract basis. This role involves providing specialized care to patients with cancer or blood disorders while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The position requires expertise in oncology and hematology to deliver evidence-based treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose patients with oncology and hematology conditions using clinical guidelines.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for cancer and blood disorder patients.
- Monitor patient response to therapy and adjust treatment as needed based on clinical outcomes.
- Collaborate with oncologists, hematologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Document patient encounters, treatment progress, and outcomes in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Active license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the United States.
- Board certification or eligibility in Oncology or Hematology Nursing preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in oncology or hematology clinical practice.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation.
- Strong communication skills for patient education and interprofessional collaboration.
