WE ARE HIRING: Oncologist – AI Medical Research ExpertHourly Rate: $350–$450 per hourLocation: United States (Remote)Engagement Type: Independent ContractorWork Schedule: FlexibleOpportunity: Short-term project, with potential for extension based on project needs and performanceAbout the OpportunityWe are seeking experienced, US-based oncologists to contribute to an advanced AI research project focused on improving medical problem-solving in oncology.This project aims to evaluate how AI models handle complex, real-world oncology cases, particularly in clinical trial design, patient eligibility assessment, and treatment decision-making. Selected experts will use their clinical knowledge to identify gaps in AI-generated responses and help improve the accuracy, reliability, and safety of AI systems in oncology.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop realistic and clinically nuanced oncology cases and scenarios, particularly involving clinical trials, to assess the limitations of advanced AI models.Evaluate AI-generated clinical reasoning for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with current standards of care.Identify flawed clinical logic, missed diagnoses, incomplete treatment rationale, and potentially unsafe recommendations.Prepare clear, structured, evidence-based expert responses that demonstrate sound clinical decision-making.Provide detailed explanations of clinical judgments and the rationale behind treatment and eligibility assessments.Required QualificationsMD or DO degree, with a current or completed fellowship in Medical Oncology or Hematology-Oncology.Currently practicing in the United States and actively seeing oncology patients, or having done so within the past three years.Strong written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex clinical decisions clearly and precisely.At least three years of post-residency experience is strongly preferred.Contract & Payment TermsIndependent contractor engagement.Fully remote work with a flexible schedule.Weekly payments through Stripe or Wise, based on services rendered.Project duration may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on project requirements and performance.No access to confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, or institution is required.H-1B and STEM OPT candidates cannot be supported at this time.We welcome applications from qualified medical professionals.
