About the role

We're seeking a Corporate RIA Onboarding Program Lead to oversee the onboarding process for advisors and teams transitioning from corporate RIAs or broker-dealers to Altruist Advisors. This role involves managing complex transitions, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience, and maintaining alignment across various departments.

Responsibilities

  • Own the onboarding experience for Corporate RIA transitions, handling single-wave moves of concentrated books
  • Monitor and manage dashboards, aging items, and team escalation channels for Corporate RIA onboarding activities
  • Define and enforce a consistent path for request and issue flow between Sales, Onboarding, Operations, and Compliance
  • Evolve Corporate RIA onboarding playbooks and milestones as the offering matures
  • Coordinate knowledge transfer between Sales and Onboarding before Corporate RIA kickoffs
  • Coach and support Onboarding Specialists taking on Corporate RIA transitions
  • Partner with Compliance and Operations on segment-specific onboarding requirements
  • Lead execution of onboarding workflow and process improvements
  • Provide hands-on feedback on tools, product offerings, and workflows
  • Report regularly to leadership on volume, risk, and pacing across the Corporate RIA book
  • Create and maintain onboarding collateral, journey documentation, and training materials

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in onboarding, implementation, or transitions management within financial services
  • 3+ years specifically in corporate RIA, breakaway advisor, or wirehouse transition environments
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 required; Series 24 is a strong plus
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume, single-wave transitions
  • Executive-level composure and communication, with experience handling high-stakes escalations
  • Systems-thinking mindset, balancing high-touch and automation needs
  • High emotional intelligence and empathy for Corporate RIA IARs' anxiety during transitions

Base salaries will be determined by a number of factors including experience, skill level, internal pay equity, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs regularly to ensure fair, equitable, and competitive pay.

Schedule

This role is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in the office.
