Job Summary
You will contribute to essential healthcare-related educational and training programs, assisting in scheduling and conducting diverse healthcare training programs, and providing direct coordination and/or instruction in various educational initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Assist in scheduling and conducting healthcare training programs.
- Provide direct coordination and/or instruction in educational initiatives.
- Ensure effective learning experiences for all participants.
- Develop and implement training programs for specific target populations using adult learning principles and learning theory.
- Demonstrate ethical and legal considerations in program design appropriate to hospital philosophy and standards.
- Absess target populations for learning styles and needs, using a tool when necessary.
- Advertise educational programs 6 weeks in advance of the program date using brochures and fliers in compliance with regulatory and Marian Medical Center graphic standards.
- Create evaluation material appropriate to instructional design and target population to ensure competency measurement.
- Attend and participate in departmental activities including monthly staff meetings.
- Function independently, follow through, and communicate clearly with minimal misunderstanding.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Nursing and at least three years of clinical experience, upon hire.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, upon hire.
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support, upon hire.
