On the Way Home Consultant

About the role

Provides post-program consultation on dropout prevention, parental support and involvement, and home and school academic interventions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a role model in carrying out activities and behaviors that reflect the values and principles of the Boys Town mission.
• Support youth and families with in-home services, school advocacy, and academic support.
• Provide parent training to strengthen family dynamics.
• Collaborate with schools, social agencies, and community partners.
• Travel to homes and schools to provide hands-on support.
• Ensure safety, documentation, and model fidelity in every interaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services (or HS diploma with 3+ years of relevant experience in the Boys Town Model).
• 1+ year working with children and families.
• Possess a valid driver's license with good driving record and able to pass an annual Motor Vehicle Registration check.
• Able to provide own transportation to complete travel requirements of the job.
• Available rotationally to provide crisis response and must be available to work non-traditional business hours including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

$20.50–$23.50/hr
