On-site Interpreter

Position Summary

As a 1099 Contract Interpreter, you will play a vital role in supporting diverse communities by delivering on-site interpretation services in a variety of settings. This role offers flexible, per diem assignments with competitive pay, allowing you to build a rewarding and scalable career.

Requirements

• Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate, on-site interpretation between English and your target language
  • Travel to client locations within a 30-mile radius
  • Maintain professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and appropriate tone during all assignments
  • Deliver clear and complete interpretation without omissions or additions
  • Respond promptly to scheduled assignments and communicate effectively with clients
  • Uphold strict confidentiality and ethical standards
  • Provide excellent customer service in all interactions
• Qualifications:
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must reside within a 30-mile radius of Hyannis, MA
  • Willingness and ability to travel locally to assignments
• Languages Currently in Demand: Afar, Dari, Farsi, Karen, Kinyarwanda, Kirundi (Rundi), Kurdish, Luganda, Mai Mai, Pashto, Portuguese, Somali, Swahili, Tigrinya, Turkish, Urdu, Vietnamese
