Responsibilities
- Support internal teams and stakeholders, overseeing construction efforts, and progress reporting.
- Manage contracts and budgets, ensuring alignment with cost budgets.
- Develop and coordinate detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations through regular site inspections and audits.
- Identify and address quality, safety, health, and environment issues.
- Proactively manage construction risks and coordinate GC actions on risk.
- Create and coordinate monthly, daily, and event reporting for the construction team.
- Issue meeting minutes and documentation for site progress and other required meetings.
- Cover coordination and support the RFI and submittal process, ensuring alignment with cost budgets.
- Assist the clients with PM coordinating construction efforts to support safety, QA/QC, and labor relations programs.
- Establish success criteria for the project, focusing on time, cost, technical, and quality performance.
- Support contractors and purchasing strategy development and execution.
- Act as project schedule owner or support the scheduler, tracking critical actions and milestones.
- Conduct meetings with key stakeholders to track and report progress.
- Review as-built documents and other closeout items with project teams.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including subcontractors and vendors.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, permits, and compliance records.
- Ensure integration of battery systems with existing factory infrastructure.
- Monitor and report on health and safety aspects of battery retrofit activities, ensuring alignment with project standards and regulations.
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
Qualifications
- MUST BE US Citizen or Green Card holder.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience
- In lieu of the education background noted above, candidates who can demonstrate 10 years' experience in the above disciplines will be considered.
- PREFERRED certifications include OSHA 30, CCM, or PMP.
- Proven experience in implementing and monitoring construction projects with QA/QC plans and/or contractor site safety plans.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure projects are managed to the right quality standards, completed efficiently, and on time.
- Strong ability to build and maintain working relationships with clients and cross-functional team members.
- Ensure key information and data are effectively shared and appropriately retained.
- Excellent communication skills.
