About the Role
As an On-Demand Small Format Team Member at Target, you'll help ensure a consistent and welcoming experience for our guests in our smallest format stores. This role is ideal for those seeking a flexible work schedule, allowing you to pick up shifts that fit your availability through our myTime mobile scheduling app. You'll be responsible for various tasks, including cashiering, stocking, and maintaining store presentation, all while providing exceptional guest service.
Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming experience for guests while completing daily tasks.
- Assist guests with their specific needs and provide solutions.
- Maintain a guest-first culture across the store.
- Ensure the sales floor is fully stocked, zoned, and priced accurately.
- Assist with truck unloading and product stocking.
- Execute adjacency changes, transitions, and sales plans.
- Conduct weekly price changes and ensure accurate signing.
- Complete inventory scans and audits for accuracy.
- Support major transitions and maintain store cleanliness.
- Process inbound deliveries and maintain backroom organization.
- Operate power equipment (if certified) and follow safety protocols.
- Support guest services, including backup cashier, order pick-up, and drive-up.
Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.
- Reliable and prompt attendance when picking up shifts.
- Active engagement by picking up shifts and responding to contact attempts.
- Minimum of one shift worked every 5 months to maintain employment.
- Capability to lift up to 15 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments.

Pay
The Starting Hourly Rate is $16.50 USD per hour. The Pay Range is $16.50 USD - $24.75 USD per hour.
