About the Role
Working at Target means helping all families discover the joy of everyday life. We bring that vision to life through our values and culture.
On-Demand Team Member Model: You can work as much or as little as you like. Your schedule varies depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule. As an On-Demand Team Member you will not be on the posted weekly schedule; instead, you create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via the myTime mobile scheduling app. When you pick up a shift, reliable and prompt attendance is required. Active engagement is expected: pick up and work at least one shift (minimum four hours) every four weeks. Flexibility may be granted in certain circumstances, but you must respond to contact attempts confirming your interest in working shifts. Failure to respond may result in termination. If you do not work at least one shift within five months, your employment will be administratively terminated. Communication and availability during peak business demands are critical. If offered the position, you must attend a Target Welcome orientation and complete a short-term structured training schedule before using the myTime app to pick up shifts.
Small Formats Team: We enable a consistent guest experience by ensuring product is in stock, available, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor in our smallest format stores. Experts in service, operations, process, and efficiency, this team is proficient in all areas of the store to complete duties such as cashiering, stocking, presentation, and price accuracy. You’ll provide exceptional guest service, customizing each experience and anticipating guest needs.
