As an On-Demand Team Member (TM), you can work as much or as little as you like, with a personalized schedule that varies depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking flexibility. You'll create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via our myTime mobile scheduling app. Reliable and prompt attendance is necessary when you choose to work a shift. Active engagement is required, including working shifts once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours) and responding to contact attempts. Failure to respond or work at least one shift within 5 months may result in termination.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional guest service by greeting, assisting, and thanking guests.
  • Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards.
  • Promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-ups.
  • Support fulfillment services, including Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Stock supplies during store open hours while remaining available for guest assistance.
  • Handle cash register operations and support cash office processes.
  • Move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds occasionally.
  • Work in varying temperatures and environments, including Drive-Up and carryout.

Qualifications

  • Effective communication skills, including positive language and attentiveness to guest needs.
  • Ability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment and multitask within established timeframes.
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
  • Attention to detail while multitasking.
  • Willingness to educate guests about products and services.
  • Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

The Starting Hourly Rate is $16.25 USD per hour. The Pay Range is $16.25 USD - $24.40 USD per hour.

Schedule

On-Demand Team Members create their own schedules by picking up shifts via the myTime mobile scheduling app. Shifts vary depending on store needs and may include nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.
