On-Call Program Aide for After School Programs
About the role
AHC (Affordable Homes & Communities) is a mission‑driven non‑profit organization that develops affordable, workforce, and mixed‑income rental housing in the Virginia, Washington DC, and Baltimore regions, managing over 8,000 apartment units in 50+ communities and providing educational programs and social services through its Resident Services team. The residents are at the heart of AHC’s work; the organization builds opportunities by creating quality homes with holistic resident services, driving change through innovation, genuine partnerships, and responsible investment. Resident Services aims for transformational engagement—building healthy, beautiful, and equitable communities so residents can create the homes, neighborhoods, and lives they want. Its programming rests on four cornerstones: Education, Economic Mobility, Health & Wellness, and Community Engagement. The On‑Call Program Aide provides temporary coverage and support in AHC Education programs when regular staff are absent or additional support is needed.
