Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate complete knowledge of service times, menus, floor plans, table numbers, and seat numbers.
  • Verify order accuracy by matching tickets to food on cold and hot lines before delivery.
  • Deliver food to the correct table, room, or guest, and check for additional service needs upon delivery.
  • Consult with supervisors regarding any food delivery difficulties.
  • Set up specified work items and minimize breakage.
  • Attend all staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down 8th Notch.
  • Report maintenance concerns to supervisors.
  • Ensure all products are within date using the FIFO (First In, First Out) storage method.
  • Maintain current Serve Safe certification and Liquor License.
  • Perform effectively in stressful, high-pressure situations while adhering to uniform and grooming standards.
  • Retrieve items from kitchen, storage rooms, cooler, and freezers, and adhere to par stock levels.
  • Operate technical equipment proficiently and prepare espresso drinks to consistent standards.
  • Assist in stocking condiments, displays, shelves, and wiping down surfaces.
  • Maintain correct temperatures for hot and cold food and beverage products.
  • Ensure all products meet specifications consistently.
  • Process payments according to Omni standards.
  • Listen, understand, and clarify guest and associate concerns effectively.
  • Follow health, sanitation, and safety guidelines for all products and equipment.
  • Adapt to changing food and drink products.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Stock and restock coolers.
  • Adhere to policies regarding employee purchases and follow procedures for receipts and returns.
  • Proactively seek ways to improve the guest experience.

Qualifications

  • Evening and weekend availability required.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and pleasantly in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with coworkers across departments.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and follow up on guest requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain current Serve Safe certification and Liquor License.
  • Ability to move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
  • Adhere to compensation acknowledgment and tip reporting guidelines.
