On-Call Mental Health Delegate

About the role

As an On-Call Mental Health Delegate within our County Programs team, you'll play a vital role in supporting individuals in crisis by coordinating emergency mental health services.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide emergency mental health delegate services across Centre County
• Coordinate inpatient care and hospitalization when needed
• Communicate with local crisis providers, emergency services, and hospitals
• Ensure individuals are advised of their rights during the process
• Maintain clear and timely documentation
• Advocate for access to appropriate care and support

Who You Bring

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of experience in the human services field
• Ability to remain responsive, ethical, and organized in high-pressure situations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Location & Schedule

This position is based in Centre County, Pennsylvania. Work is primarily remote with periodic community-based responsibilities. Daytime Shift (8:30-5:00PM) 3 shifts weekly.
