Avis Budget Group is hiring an On-Call Inter-City Fleet Driver / Transporter in Romulus, Michigan, United States. Pay starts at $13.73/hour; shift premium may apply.

About the role

This on-call role plays an important part in keeping our fleet moving so customers have access to vehicles when and where they need them. You will drive rental vehicles between rental locations, maintenance facilities, and other designated lots based on business needs. By transporting vehicles safely and efficiently, you help ensure cars are positioned correctly to support customer demand and smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive rental vehicles between rental locations, maintenance facilities, and other designated lots
• Follow all driving standards and safety procedures
• Support fleet availability and the overall customer experience

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Flexibility to work on-call and be available for various shifts
• Comfort driving a variety of vehicles in all weather conditions
• Must be able to frequently enter and exit vehicles, sit for extended periods, get up and down from a seated position, and remain active throughout the shift
• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely
