About the role
On Call Hospice Nurse positions available in the Saginaw, Bay City, and Midland areas. Schedules include 7 days on/7 days off, Monday through Thursday or weekends.
The On-Call RN will triage patient calls, make patient visits, perform tuck-ins, and handle admissions as needed.
Responsibilities
- Triage patient calls
- Conduct patient visits
- Perform tuck-ins
- Handle admissions as needed
- Participate in field visits daily and weekly office meetings as indicated
- Adapt to patient's status and needs on an on-call basis
Requirements
- Current Michigan RN License in good standing
- 1 year hospice experience preferred but not required
- Empathetic approach to patients and caregivers
