On-Call Food Service Worker

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of the assigned menu.
• Aid in delivering food to classrooms and collecting dirty dishes from the classrooms.
• Use sanitary washing procedures to clean dishes and cooking equipment.
• Check food deliveries for accuracy and quality.
• Store food and supplies properly.
• Date all canned, boxed, and bagged foods.
• Use the FIFO method of inventory.
• Maintain proper food and refrigeration temperatures.
• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen materials and supplies as required.

Job Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• ServSafe certification is preferred.
• Physical exam and background checks are required for this position.
