Responsibilities
- Assist with setup of banquet spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, place settings, glassware, and décor according to event specifications.
- Ensure all service areas are stocked and ready prior to guest arrival.
- Deliver professional, friendly, and efficient service during events.
- Execute various service styles (plated, buffet, family-style, cocktail reception) according to the event plan.
- Serve clear food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Provide wine, beer, and cocktail service in compliance with responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Anticipate and respond to guest needs, communicating any dietary concerns or special requests to the Banquet Captain or Manager.
- Aid in post-event breakdown, including clearing tables, stacking chairs, and returning equipment to proper storage.
- Handle all service ware, linens, and equipment carefully to prevent damage or loss.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of event spaces and service areas.
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless event execution.
- Maintain inventory levels, monitor food costs, and implement efficient purchasing strategies to optimize kitchen performance.
- Implement and maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards in accordance with local regulations.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability.
- Prior banquet or catering experience preferred; Spanish language skills a plus.

$15.16/hour plus tips.
