On Air Personality / Music Director
Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily airshift
- Create original content for all social media platforms; manage online personality presence
- Schedule music logs
- Maintain the music and commercial logs for the airshift
- Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly
- Operate the control board and perform production work
- Make personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts
- Perform other duties as required by management
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years experience in the AC format on air and scheduling music
- Thorough understanding of the adult contemporary format, audience and lifestyle
- Excellent communicator with strong creative skills
- Solid production skills and a strong working knowledge of studio audio equipment necessary for on-air and production execution, including on-air digital systems such as Wide Orbit, Vox Pro and voice-tracking software
- Organizational skills a must as well as ability to multi-task
- Proficiency across major social media platforms and an understanding of podcasting and on-demand content
- GSelector and AC music scheduling experience a plus
