Responsibilities
- Create original content and performing live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative.
- Participate and create original content for all social media platforms; managing online personality presence.
- Protect the station’s FCC license.
- Maintain the music and commercial logs for the airshift.
- Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly.
- Operate the control board and perform production work.
- Other duties as required by management.
Qualifications
- Must be an excellent communicator with strong creative skills.
- Strong knowledge of all music, popular culture topics relevant to the station's target demographic is a must.
- Familiar with FCC guidelines.
- Experience with Wide Orbit, Vox Pro, Adobe Audition is preferred.
- At least 2 years on-air experience is preferred but not required.
- Passion and enthusiasm is a must.
About the Role
The anticipated starting salary range for Massachusetts-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $25.00/Hr. - $28.00/Hr.. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
