iHeartMedia, the number one audio company in America, is seeking a versatile, high-energy communicator with deep sports expertise to anchor a daily program while driving digital growth through innovative content, multi-platform social media engagement, and strategic local community partnerships.
Responsibilities
As the primary host of a daily sports-talk program, you will be responsible for anchoring a high-energy broadcast driven by a deep expertise in both collegiate and professional athletics. Your core duty involves curating and producing creative, original content tailored for live radio and cross-platform social media engagement to grow the show’s digital footprint. Beyond the microphone, you will serve as a brand ambassador by establishing strategic relationships with local sports organizations and collaborating closely with the sales department to develop content that is both listener-focused and sponsorship-friendly.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must be a dynamic communicator with the versatility to remain engaging regardless of the sports season or the topic at hand. Beyond exceptional oral communication skills and "on-air" presence, you should possess a savvy understanding of modern audience growth, specifically in creating viral "buzz" across social media and traditional media platforms.
