omni experience ambassador Part Time

About the Role

Responsible for performing general warehouse activities including pulling merchandise from a pick list, moving merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area, using a handheld scanner to verify merchandise counts and update locations, and operating equipment. The Omni Experience Ambassador will work within digital initiatives such as BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club, supporting club policies, procedures, and compliance while delivering a safe and positive environment for members and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Process member purchases quickly and courteously by pulling merchandise from a pick list.
• Utilize a handheld RF scanner to pick and verify orders from the sales floor.
• Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area and ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Communicate inventory or equipment problems, including expired or short‑dated items on the pick list.
• Coordinate with the club team for merchandise replenishment and pull items from reserve when possible.
• Meet productivity requirements and key performance indicators, maintaining urgency to meet deadlines.
• Follow operational efficiencies, processes, and SOPs for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Package orders securely according to standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized SFC area and perform general housekeeping, including trash and cardboard removal.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products per SOPs.
• Process returns and determine appropriate handling (DDR or Membership desk).
• Adhere to all club policies, procedures, and dress code standards.
• Meet OMNI productivity expectations regarding service level agreements, performance metrics, and goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including cross‑training in other departments.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.

Qualifications

• Previous order‑pulling experience preferred.
• Big‑box/wholesale retail experience preferred.
• Previous RF scanner experience preferred.

Job Conditions

• Continuous movement on hard surfaces; frequent bending, climbing, crawling, reaching, and stooping.
• Regular lifting of objects up to 30 lb; occasional lifting of heavier or awkward items with assistance.
• Work environment includes moving machinery, loud equipment, and occasional temperature extremes when handling refrigerated orders.
• Potential exposure to company‑approved cleaning agents.

Pay

The estimated compensation range for this position is $18.25 – $21.90 per hour, with actual salaries varying based on location, education, experience, and qualifications.
