Omics Research Associate

About the role

In this hands-on laboratory role, you will support mass spectrometry-based proteomics and metabolomics by executing and optimizing sample preparation workflows for a variety of biological matrices. Working closely with Operations and R&D teams, you will prepare complex biological samples, support client-driven research projects, and contribute to the development and refinement of laboratory methods and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific discipline
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on bioanalytical sample preparation experience
  • Skills: Strong laboratory technique and sample preparation skills for mass spectrometry applications, excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, reproducible results, strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, experience maintaining accurate laboratory documentation and electronic records, effective communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional laboratory teams, ability to troubleshoot laboratory workflows and adapt to evolving research needs
