OMHC - Cecil Clinician

The Opportunity

Provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents with diverse mental health needs.
Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Deliver evidence-based interventions (e.g., CBT, TF-CBT, play therapy) under clinical supervision.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with COMAR, HIPAA, and agency standards.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, case managers, and school staff.
Engage families as active partners in the therapeutic process.
Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (required)
• Graduate licensure in Maryland or D.C. (LMSW, LGPC, or equivalent); candidates awaiting licensure encouraged to apply
• Genuine passion for working with children, adolescents, and families
• Basic knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic modalities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
