About the role

Oversees efficient operation of the parts and service department.

Responsibilities

  • Assists guests with parts and service needs.
  • Prepares and writes up work orders for services rendered by the service department.
  • Maintains and orders technical parts for RV units (e.g., furnaces, refrigerators, air conditioning units).
  • Completes and files all warranty claims ensuring OLRV Center is properly reimbursed.
  • Orders all warranty parts.
  • Ensures that OLRV Center receives payment for all parts specially ordered by the parts department.
  • Assigns work orders as received in proper order and assists as needed.
  • Repairs and services recreational vehicles sold by the Sales Department prior to delivery.
  • Repairs and services recreational vehicle needs as outlined on work orders.
  • Assists guests and finalizes sales as needed.
  • Maintains cleanliness of the parts department.
  • Provides outstanding guest service at every opportunity.
  • Promotes a positive relationship with team members in all departments and divisions.
  • Understands internal controls and maintains confidentiality of information.
  • Actively demonstrates, encourages, trains, and models safety rules and guidelines in accordance with company, local, state, and federal law requirements.
  • Investigates loss-producing incidents and reviews prevention recommendations with all employees.
  • Actively participates in safety meetings, providing and documenting safety training, and offering improvement suggestions.
  • Ensures that all safety equipment is used at all times (e.g., safety harness, eye protection, hard hats, gloves).
  • Reports safety or hazard concerns to management.
  • Reports any work-related injury to management.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or further education.
  • Proficient use of computers.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work on-site for all scheduled hours.
  • Positive attitude and ability to interact well with others in a team environment.
  • Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs, pushing, pulling, and bending.
  • Physically able to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to perform outdoor physical labor in varying weather conditions.

Schedule

Ocean Lakes Family Campground operates 7 days each week. Employees must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime hours as necessary. Available to take calls on a 24-hour rotation basis and for emergency calls regarding complex issues.
