About the role
Oliver Wyman’s Actuarial Practice provides customized actuarial services and strategic insight to insurers, provider systems, regulators, and private equity firms. As a Life Actuarial Intern, you will support actuarial modeling and analysis related to valuation, pricing, and financial projections, while assisting with data analysis, assumption reviews, and sensitivity testing. You will also research industry trends and emerging topics to support client engagements, and prepare analyses, exhibits, and presentation materials for internal and client-facing discussions.
Responsibilities

Actuarial Bootcamp
All interns participate in a six-week actuarial bootcamp featuring presentations, case studies, and mentorship sessions designed to build directly applicable skills for future actuarial roles.

Compensation
Intern weekly pay (U.S.): $1,350 – $1,600 USD, depending on role, practice, and location.
Work Authorization
Candidates must have permanent, unrestricted U.S. work authorization. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. CPT and OPT are considered restricted forms of work authorization.
