About the Role
As a Manager, you will collaborate with Oliver Wyman’s industry leaders and consultants on a broad range of client projects. You will engage with clients across the healthcare and insurance sectors, contributing to high-impact work in a dynamic, team-based environment. The Health Practice is rapidly growing and seeks motivated individuals to join our collaborative culture.
Responsibilities
- Valuation and reserve development for medical and other accident & health (A&H) products
- Captive feasibility, funding, reserving, and risk/capital management
- Merger and acquisition management and support
- Economic Capital Modeling and Enterprise Risk Management
- Regulatory support, including financial examinations and review of mergers and acquisitions
- Pricing, product development, strategy, and other project work across all lines of business in the health practice
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field
- Significant progress with actuarial exams; ASA or FSA preferred
- 5+ years of actuarial experience, preferably in the health insurance or healthcare provider market
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Track record of rapid learning, high performance, and professional growth
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Strong time management and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting
- High motivation and willingness to work in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint; experience with R, SAS, SQL, VBA, or other programming languages is a plus

Pay
The applicable base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $160,000. The base pay offered will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. This position may also be eligible for performance-based incentives.
Schedule
Oliver Wyman is committed to a hybrid work model, requiring colleagues to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week for in-person collaboration.
