About the Project
WENDOVER is Oliver Dahl's second published photographic exploration of a small town, following the series debut, ARCO. The book and accompanying NFT collection feature a combination of digital and analog photography, paired with stories and history from Wendover, a town in the Great Salt Lake Desert. This series is the result of five dedicated trips over the past year, spanning all four seasons, and explores themes of connection and separation due to borders and distance. It offers an honest, raw, and liminal depiction of Wendover, a gambling town "oasis" known for its unique blend of activities, from gambling and speed racing to scuba diving and bombing ranges.
