Oiler

Duties

• Check fluid levels (Fuel, Grease and Oil) and perform preventive maintenance (lubrication, oil changes, oil/air filters and oil samples) on all heavy equipment on the job site according to schedules or as needed.
• Safely operate a lube/grease truck to dispense lubricants to construction equipment.
• Affix to assist the mechanic during repairs.
• Prepare service truck for use.
• Miscellaneous parts running and servicing.
• Service the asphalt plant, including generator oil change.
• Make daily walk-around of all rolling stock.
• Perform minor repairs during servicing.
• Report all fuel usage to project supervisor.
• Correctly complete daily lube reports.
• Order supplies daily as needed.
• Service and maintain the service truck.
• Keep job van neat and clean.
• Complete responsibilities in a congenial and collaborative manner with co-workers.
• Maintain and promote a clean and safe work environment and culture.

Qualifications

• Must meet minimum age requirements.
• Class A Commercial drivers license with Tanker and Hazardous Material endorsement preferred.
• Training provided by employer for non-CDL holders.
