Oil Scheduling - Hedge Fund

We are assisting a boutique Oil Trading Merchant in the search for an Operator / Scheduler.

About the role

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in logistics (Vessel, Rail, and Truck) coordination and a strong ability to manage operational tasks efficiently. This role requires analytical thinking, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel to ensure smooth workflow and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily scheduling and operational tasks related to shipments.
• Coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery of resources and materials.
• Monitor and optimize workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on operational goals.
• Identify and resolve operational challenges to maintain seamless processes.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in the commodity industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle complex scheduling tasks.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and address operational inefficiencies.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to oil operations.
• Proven ability to manage logistics and resources effectively.
