Oil Sales and Service Representative

About the role

Drive sales and service for Crystal Clean’s oil business by engaging with new and existing customers, operating equipment to load and offload oil, and building strong customer relationships. Ensure safety and compliance with DOT requirements while meeting sales targets and identifying new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to provide top-notch service and grow the oil business through new and existing accounts.
• Operate hoses and equipment to efficiently load and offload oil from various containers.
• Follow all safety guidelines, inspect your vehicle and equipment, and minimize travel time with efficient route planning.
• Develop strong customer connections, pursue additional service opportunities, and identify new business prospects.
• Achieve sales targets and maintain compliance with DOT requirements and company standards.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Proficient with electronic devices, computers, and truck equipment.
• Route sales experience preferred, but not required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a Class B CDL, Med Card, Airbrake, and Tanker Endorsement.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and handle hoses weighing up to 40lbs.
• Climb ladders and perform physical tasks related to oil service.
• Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.

Work Environment

• Varied settings with fluctuating noise levels.
• Frequent physical activity including bending, lifting, and climbing.

Pay

Compensation for this role includes a weekly base salary, performance-based bonuses, and uncapped commission. Average annual earnings range from $70,000 to $85,000, depending on performance and location.
