Oil Change Service Advisor

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers in a positive, enthusiastic, and professional manner.
• Educate customers on Delta Sonic’s products and services.
• Interact professionally with customers while providing service recommendations based on maintenance schedules and service requirements.
• Multitask with a sense of urgency to meet customer service expectations.
• Transact customer purchases.
• Maintain proper cash handling procedures.
• Follow all position-specific procedures.
• Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of shop premises.
• Work cross-trained in the position of Oil Change Tech.

Requirements

• Hired into the entry-level position of Oil Change Technician.
• Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license (preferred).
• Have prior experience in automotive service writing, customer service, and/or sales.
• Have excellent communication skills and a passion for providing great customer service.
• Be unwaveringly honest and have a strong sense of integrity.
• Have a courteous and professional demeanor.
• Have a detail-oriented mindset.
• Be a team player.
• Be willing to work in all weather conditions, both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Be able to work with a sense of urgency.
• Be able to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time.
• Be able to lift moderate amounts of weight.
• Be willing to work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

Upon completion and certification of the required training for the Oil Change Service Advisor, the pay rate is $19.25 per hour, plus eligible commission.

The pay rate for the Oil Change Technician position is $19.25 per hour, plus eligible commission.

The pay rate for the Oil Change Technician position is $19.50 per hour, plus eligible commission.
