Ohana Therapist (0.8 FTE)- Licensed - Outpatient Services

Ohana Therapist reports to the Assistant Director of Outpatient Services and provides evaluations, individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents, and their families. Also delivers mental health education to patients, the community, and other professionals. Emphasizes continuous learning, innovation, quality care, outcomes measurement, professionalism, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team. Requires strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, curiosity, and a focus on safety and quality of care. Expected to maintain a productivity standard of at least 25 patient-facing billable hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations and therapy (individual, family, and group) to children, adolescents, and families.
• Deliver mental health education to patients, the community, and other professionals.
• Commit to continuous learning, innovation, and quality-of-care improvements.
• Maintain a productivity standard of at least 25 patient-facing billable hours per week.
• Participate in training for evidence-based therapies (EBT) aligned with clinician interests and program needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and families.
• Training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) preferred.
• Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Pass orientation, initial competency assessment, and ongoing required training.

Qualifications

• LCSW or LMFT license required.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.
• AVADE certification must be obtained within the first 6 months of hire.
• Complete mandatory 5150 training by Monterey County to obtain 5150 certification and yearly authorization.
• Live Scan fingerprint clearance required by the Department of Healthcare Services.

Schedule

• 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week).
• 8-hour shifts during open business hours: Monday–Thursday 8 AM–7 PM, Friday–Saturday 8 AM–5 PM.

Pay

$55.36 to $74.04 per hour, based on years of applicable experience.
