Offsite Environmental Service Worker
Summary Of Responsibilities
The EVS Worker is responsible for performing the cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting of all areas in the hospital, clinics, Home Health, and EMS. This individual will ensure that the Martin County facilities are clean and safe for our patients, employees, guests, and visitors. The EVS Worker is required to meet all the standards set forth by MCHD and CMS. The EVS worker will maintain a high level of customer service by practicing AIDET.
A personal vehicle will be required to drive from location to location. Reimbursement for mileage will be paid monthly.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or GED. In lieu of degree, additional work experience is acceptable.
- Experience: Prior housekeeping experience preferred. Experience in a hospital setting is desirable.
- Clear Motor Vehicle Record is required
