Responsibilities
- Prepare multiple meals and courses for several events on a weekly basis: Includes appetizers, fully plated and buffet style dinners with sides, desserts & more.
- Maintain prep lists and stay on schedule for event deadlines.
- Maintain proper food handling, sanitation and storage procedures in compliance with health department regulations.
- Transport, set up, and return food from events as needed.
- Ensure all food is prepared, presented and served with high quality and food safety standards.
- Aid catering manager and catering staff with day of event execution at events.
- Adapt to various venues, equipment limitations and day of changes.
- Work alongside restaurant culinary team.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast paced and high pressured environment.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and food safety practices.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Available Friday-Saturdays with some Sundays & holidays as needed.
- Flexible weekday hours.
- Valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally more.
- Work in varying weather conditions and environments.
