Responsibilities
- Monitor and support daily offshore activities, ensuring adherence to operational procedures and safety protocols.
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize asset reliability.
- Analyze equipment performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Ensure all offshore activities comply with industry regulations, environmental policies, and company safety standards.
- Coincide with procurement and logistics teams to ensure the availability of critical spare parts and tools.
- Collaborate with third-party service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of maintenance and operational tasks.
- Track maintenance and operational expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety or performance.
- Assist in root cause analysis of operational incidents and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Participate in initiatives to improve operational efficiency, safety performance, and compliance with best practices.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical, marine, electrical, or offshore engineering (or related field). Equivalent offshore experience may be considered.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in offshore operations, maintenance, or engineering roles, preferably in the oil and gas, marine, or renewable energy sectors.
- Certifications: BOSIET, HUET, TWIC (if applicable), and knowledge of industry standards such as API, DNV, ABS, or IMO regulations.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in maintenance management systems (CMMS), offshore equipment troubleshooting, and reliability analysis.
- Communication and leadership: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and vendors.
Work Environment
This position is based in an office setting with occasional offshore travel for inspections, audits, and project oversight.
