Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot and repair Ball Ring and King Post Mounted Offshore Marine Cranes.
- Inspect, troubleshoot and repair cranes-Hydraulic Open Loop Systems.
- Ability to completely overhaul winches, valves and hydraulic components.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance required on diesel engines.
- Carry out preventative maintenance program for offshore cranes.
- Observe competitive activities.
- Contribute to Gulf Crane Services image and reputation.
- Manage and maintain assigned tools and equipment.
- Complete all paperwork thoroughly and in a timely fashion.
- Know and understand Gulf Crane Services Quality Policy and comply with all Safety and Environmental requirements.
- Perform all other duties as required by Supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Skills
- Mechanical, hydraulic and diesel experience.
- Completed Braden Winch Training.
- Knowledge of proper crane rigging procedures.
- Good driving record.
- Able to perform tasks independently.
- Thorough knowledge of API spec 2 C, API RP 2 D and API 9 A specifications and practices.
- Own hand tools.
- General knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel applications.
