Offloading Operator

Responsibilities

• Safely unload tanker trucks and railcars into designated storage tanks.
• Operate transfer pumps, valves, hoses, and associated unloading equipment.
• Understand pump operation, product flow, pressure, and transfer procedures.
• Verify incoming products and ensure transfers are made to the correct storage tanks.
• Perform pre-transfer and post-transfer inspections of equipment and connections.
• Monitor transfer operations to prevent spills, leaks, contamination, or overfills.
• Complete shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation accurately.
• Inspect pumps, hoses, valves, and unloading equipment for proper operation.
• Follow all OSHA, DOT, EPA, company, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe unloading area.
• Report equipment issues, leaks, spills, or unsafe conditions immediately.
