Offloader

Physical warehouse position unloading tractor trailer loads of furniture and staging it for deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Unload tractor trailer loads of furniture and stage items for deliveries
• Assemble items according to manufacturer directions
• Perform a minimum daily offloading output as provided by management
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace and environment
• Use equipment properly to ensure the safety of all team members
• Execute the placement of delivery items as specified by management
• Communicate effectively and work professionally alongside co-workers

• Maintain regular and prompt attendance with the ability to work a flexible schedule

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent experience
• One or more years of experience in transportation, logistics, customer product assembly, furniture or appliance delivery, or with a moving company
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Able to perform the essential functions of the job
• Ability to speak English, communicate with coworkers, and read assembly instructions

Physical Requirements

• Seeing and hearing: Read documents (75-100%) and communicate in person (100%)
• Standing and walking: 0-75%
• Climbing, stooping, squatting, and kneeling: 0-75%
• Dexterity: Utilizing hand dolly or hand cart (75-100%)
• Lift more than 50-80 pounds (75-100%)
