About the role

The Merchandise Leader is the Merchandising Team Leader's right-hand person in ensuring the store adheres to AEO Brand Visual Standards. The role involves executing effective Floorsets, managing marketing and merchandising updates, and ensuring the store is "guest ready" through effective replenishment.

Responsibilities

  • Support driving an outstanding guest experience by ensuring the store is representative of AEO Brand Standards.
  • Drive killer Floorset execution by training and coaching the Floorset team, setting clear productivity goals, and ensuring all areas of the store are effectively executed to Floorset standards.
  • #Own day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment, ensuring the store stays in tip-top shape.
  • Ensure the merchandising team understands and maintains AEO Brand Standards through merchandising, adjustments, and replenishment.
  • Support the Merchandising Team Leader in maintaining a culture of recognition and celebrating wins with the team.
  • Maintain store safety standards and adhere to AEO policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Love AE and Aerie products.
  • Have strong retail merchandising and visual skills with a history of retail work.
  • Have flexible availability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Have attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Have a "teamwork" mentality and a passion for merchandising.
  • Have integrity and commitment to shrink-reducing strategies.

Pay

Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location. Associates may be eligible to receive paid sick leave and AEO may provide REAL rewards at its discretion.

Schedule

The role is part-time.
