Officer - Security (On-Call)

About the role

The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of guests, Team Members, and Company property. They patrol and monitor assigned areas, investigate incidents, and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Patrols and monitors assigned areas
• Investigates incidents and accidents
• Responds to emergencies
• Maintains a visible profile to deter potential problems
• Enforces property policies and regulations
• Protects individuals, property, and grounds
• Works with others to achieve department goals

Requirements

• 21 years of age
• Nevada Driver’s License and Gaming Control Board Registration
• Prior experience in security or related field preferred
• Ability to lift 46 lbs. and push/pull 100 ft/lbs.
• Knowledge of first aid and familiarity with relevant laws
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to investigate incidents and draft reports
• Knowledge of general first aid
• Ability to address stressful situations with professionalism
• Physical abilities to lift, push, and perform other tasks as required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to maintain composure and provide excellent guest service
