About the role

This role is split to support both the Office Services Team and the Meetings and Events team. As a CBRE Mail Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing mail. As a CBRE Meeting and Events Technician, you will be responsible for physical set up and tear downs of basic meeting room set-ups for conferences and special events.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver mail, packages, copy products and stationery to assigned groups/locations, as per the daily schedule.
  • Ensures that all packages received are distributed correctly on the same day, or alternatively consignee advised of the following day delivery.
  • Daily supplies audit and replenishment.
  • Audits delivered items with delivery invoices.
  • Ensures all shipped packages are adequately protected against damage.
  • Process shipment request with vendors, advising package owner of arrangements.
  • Apply appropriate postage amounts and required identification to outgoing mail and packages.
  • Stocks copy and conference rooms.
  • Stocks first aid cabinets.
  • Performs daily set up and tear down of meeting rooms to include midday room changes, evening refreshes and receptions.
  • Adjusts room reservation and event equipment to specifications.
  • After events, helps put away tables, chairs, AV equipment and clean up facility.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.
  • Ability to effectively present information to an internal department/colleagues.
  • Comfortable meeting and engaging with new people.
  • Warm and engaging demeanor.
  • Basic analytical skills and financial terms and principles.
  • Capability of understanding and following general instructions and ability to solve problems.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders and the ability to lift and carry heavy loads of 40 lbs. or more.
  • Decision making ability with a general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve goals and deadlines.
  • Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Skills

  • Basic analytical skills and financial terms and principles.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Pay

The minimum rate for the Office Svcs/Meeting & Events position is $16.83 per hour and the maximum rate for the Office Svcs/Meeting & Events Coordinator position is $27.88 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
